We should be able to trust our preparation and move without over-negotiating our worth. It took a long time for me to understand this. How do people decide or contribute without shrinking to fit in the room? I had to learn how to make decisions without seeking reassurance. I also had to learn how to be visible without carefully editing my presence. I had to stop waiting to feel ready because I knew that my preparations were enough. I now use what I learned to help others.
